Show Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Final Sermons Given By Minister Rev. Don MacDougall, of the Presbyterian Mobile Mission of Utah, conducted services in the Myton My-ton Presbyterian church, Sunday at 11 a.m. Special music was rendered ren-dered by Mrs. E. B. Lundgren and daughter, Joyce, of Duchesne. Rev. MacDougall held a special baptismal service for Mrs. Frank Griffin and son, Roger, who joined the church. He also baptized Francis Ferron, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ferron who stood with their son. Mrs. O. A. Dart assisted in the services. FRIDAY HOSTESSES Mrs. Wesley Jenson was hostess Friday afternoon at a dessert luncheon with the following guests : present: Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. I Rex Lamb, Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. P. E. Church and Mrs. James Dal-1 gleish. Bridge was enjoyed during I the afrternoon with high score prize awarded to Mrs. Linck. Mrs. Bliss Lott was a weekend visitor in Vernal, a guest at the home of Mrs. Koehler. Arnold Robbins, of Duchesne, was a business visitor in Myton, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. George Ol'sen came from Helper Friday to visit Mrs. Olsens mother, Mrs. Emma Tanner. Tan-ner. They returned home Saturday, taking Mrs. Tanner with them to spend the winter at their Carbon county home. Sunday dinner guests at the Gentry home were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gentry and son, Pat and Mrs. Martin Oaks and daughter, Sandy. Other Sunday guests included includ-ed Mr. and Mrs. Garry Wall and Mrs. Tom Robins. Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis went to Wallsburg, Saturday, to attend the funeral services- for Mrs. Dennis' Den-nis' uncle, J. Ivan Parcell, who passed away last week. During their absence, Mrs. Hazel Peterson Peter-son took care of the small daughters daugh-ters of the Dennis family. The regular sermon was combined com-bined with Rev. MacDougall's farewell fare-well words to the congregrations as this was his final appearance in the pulpit at Myton. He and his wife and family now residing at Payson, wil move to Portland, Ore. next month, where Rev. MacDougall MacDou-gall has accepted the ministry of the Rose City Presbyterian church. |
