Show Legion Auxiliary Holds Special Meet A special meeting of the American Amer-ican Legion Auxiliary, Wm R. Sands Unit 5, was held Wednesday Wednes-day evening at the home of Mrs. A C. Tolboe. Of special interest ffas the reports given by Nonalee Holgate and SherilL Richens who attended Girls State at Logan, being sponsored by Unit 4., The reports were very complete and vCTy interesting, proving both -iris had received excellent instruction in-struction and came home prepared to extol the virtues of the mem-jjgrs mem-jjgrs of the Auxiliary who were in charge of the assembly of girls and also prove they were better acquainted with the government of our country from the city and county up to the national government. govern-ment. Members present were: Mrs. Tolboe, Mrs. Gladys Harris, Mrs. Bonnie Dean, Mrs. Jennie Tuttle, Mrs. Erma Harris, Mrs. Rose Gilbert, Gil-bert, Mrs. Alexia Cooper, Mrs. Grace' Dalgleish, Mrs. Wm Logan and Mrs. Emma Tanner. Guests were Miss Holgate and Miss Rich-ens Rich-ens and their mothers Mrs. Frank Holgate and Mrs. Aften Richens. A delicious lunch was served after the, meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Clark and daughters Carol Ann and Susan came from American Fork to spend last week end at the Carlos Car-los Clark home, bringing Mr. Clark who had been in Salt Lake for medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb and daughter, Connie, joined Dr. and Mrs. Ray Lamb and family on a vacation trip to Yellowstone National Na-tional Park, leaving Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. W. H.. Linck went to Burley Idaho, Saturday to be present at the wedding reception of Mrs. Linck's nephew, Vernal Mortensen. |
