Parties Compliment Visitors From Long Beach California A round of parties filled last week's social calendar, honoring California visitors, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison and children, Nancy and Bob, who visited several sev-eral days here- They were house-guests house-guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Schmiett. ' A canyon party and steak fry Wednesday evening started activity activi-ty for the busy week. Present for the overnight outing were the Harrisons, Schmietts, Paul G. Stringhams, .Gordon Harmstons and famiies and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Huish. Afternoon Party Mrs- Harrison was complimented compliment-ed at a coffee last Thursday afternoon at the Paul G. String-ham String-ham residence. Approximately thirty guests called between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. to visit briefly with the honored guest and enjoy the social hour. Entertaining with Mrs. String-ham String-ham were Mrs. Bennie Schmiett, Mrs. Robert Huish and Mrs- Gordon Gor-don Harsmton. Beautiful gladioli arrangements provided the setting for the occasion. oc-casion. Dinner At Grill Thursday evening the Harrisons were hosted at a dinner at the Frontie Gril and later adjourned to the Harmston residence to visit. Added to the preveious guest list were Mr. and Mrs William H. Ruppel Jr., Mr. and Mrs Earl Dilman and Mr. and Mrs. George Miller. Patio Breakfast To complete the whirl of events a patio breakfast at the String-ham String-ham home honored the Harrison family Friday morning prior to their leaving for a few more days of vacation before returning to their home in Long Beach.
