Show LAPOIHT Mrs. Mabel Jenkins Presents Program The Beehive girls and their teachers gave the program at the Sacrament meeting Sunday evening, eve-ning, Aug. 12., The teachers were Margie Lee, Virigil Rasumssen Carma Hacking. Mrs. Nelda Wilkins and1 her daughter, Lynn, and baby from Roosevelt recently visited Mrs. Wilkins' parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow. Rulon and Merrill Rasmuseen and Leland Perry returnted to their work in Blanding after spending the last weekend with their families. Mrs. Jennie Neilson and Jackie Rae and Lillian were visitors in Roosevelt Tuesday. Bud Harrison and Elroy Walker took the boy scouts up Uintah Canyon recently on a fishing trip. Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hartlewent to Salt Lake City on a Temple excursion last Friday Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Kump and Linda and Jean left Sunday morning Aug. 12 on a vacation trip through the Oregon area. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Broadhead and family spent the last weekend week-end Mrs. Broadhead's father, Joe Horrocks. Mrs. Fred Hartle of Salt Lake City is visiting with her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Allred, and family, also her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hartle. Mrs. Mammie Rasmussen and Andy and Carol, Mrs. Velma Perry and Sherlene and Mrs. Sarah Norton attended the wedding wed-ding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Norton at Naples Ward Chapel Aug.. 10. Dr. and Mrs. Mathew Mansfield Mans-field and son of Salt Lake City spent last weekend with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn and family. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bigelow accompanied Mrs. Norma Long and Children of Roosevelt to Salt Lake City where they attended the Swensen reunion at Murray Park and visited Mr. and Mrs. Russell Harrison and family. Larry Jarman, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bigelow, took the airplane from Salt Lake City to his home in Seattle after spending spend-ing a month with his grandparents. grandpar-ents. Nina Jean Woolley returned to her home from Salt Lake City where she has been employed during the summer months. The Lapoint explorers' softball team played Maeser Wednesday evening at the Vernal diamond. The score was 29-2 for Lapoint. |
