Show TRIDELL Lorna McKee Tridell Girl Is Gratuated From Nurse School Flora Harvey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Harvey of Tridell graduated from the Holy Cross Hospital of Nursing, Tuesday, Tues-day, August 14th. The Commencement Commence-ment Exercises took place in the Cathederal. of the Holy Madiline in Salt Lake. Flora graduated from Union High School in 1953 and entered nurses training in Sept. of the same year. She plans on working and also attending the University of Utah-Mr. Utah-Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Simmons are rejoicing over the arrival of a new baby daughter born August 17th at the Roosevelt Hospital Larry Gilbert and Kathy Adams from Salt Lake visited Saturday at the Jack Goodrich home. Esther and Shirlene Harvey and Verna Hoopes and Uvon Workman Work-man went to Salt Lake Tuesday to attend the graduation exercises of Flora Harvey who graduated from the Holy Cross Hospital of Nursing August 14th. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wallace and family from Salt Lake and Mary Glines were visitors in Tridell Friday Fri-day and Saturday- They were just returning from a trip to Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park. The Harvey Glines and daughter Deanna visited Tuesday and Wed-nesday Wed-nesday at the Charles Glines home. George Glines went to Altamont Saturday to visit at the Orlan Oman home. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Dye of Neola were visitors at the Reed McKee home Sunday. Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday night were: Carl Richens and Don Erickson from Vernal. Visitors included Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Erickson, Joyce Hacking, Clyde Ruppe, Albert Colotzi and Mr. and Mrs. Grover Dye. Mrs. Dale Anderson took her Beehive class to the mountains Wednesday night for an overnight camp-out. The Beehive girls were Lorene and LaDonna McKee. Attending the Temple Excursion in Salt Lake last week were Mr. and Mrs- Parley Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Goodrich. Peggy accompained them to Provo where she visited. Attend Horseshoe Tournament The Blazer Boys with their leader, lead-er, Lorna McKee and Glenna Anderson And-erson and Merle McKee attended the Stake Blazer Horseshoe Tournament Tour-nament in Vernal Wednesday. The two boys from Tridell with the highest score were Billy and Merlin Mer-lin McKee. The other boys attending attend-ing were Arthur McKee and David Goodrich. Visiting at the Morlan Harvey home last week end were Mr. and Mrs- Wayne Smedley from Bountiful. Also visiting at the Harvey home Monday and Tuesday Tues-day were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hip-worth Hip-worth and son David from Baggs, Wyoming. Mrs. Mignon Harvey and daughter Sheila were visitors last week end in Salt Lake and Provo. She was brought home Sunday afternoon by Wayne, Ray and Vel-ma Vel-ma Moosman and Bruce Nielson. Mrs- Laren Ross is caring for the Val Ross children of Bountiful Bounti-ful while the Rosse's are vacationing vacation-ing Colorado Springs. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Bartlett left Thursday to attend the funeral funer-al of their son-in-law, Earl Carlson Carl-son of Magna. Mr. Carlson wa the husband of the late Elizabeth Hall. |
