Show MOHTCIEL May L. Mower Goes To Germany Mr. and Mrs. Art Brown and son returned from a two week trip to New York. Mrs. Enid Lit-ster Lit-ster accompanied her parents to New York where she took a plane to Germany to join her husband Henry who is serving in the armed forces. Wendell Johnson, stake high-councilman high-councilman was the speaker at sacrament meeting Sunday. FACULTIES MEET Primary officers and teachers met in a preparation meeting Monday evening. The Sunday school held their faculty meeting the same night Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harris and family with the families of two of the sons visited at the Miller home this week. The Harris' were former residents of this community. Junior, Ronnie and Dale Hatch and Joyce Nevins of Vernal visited visit-ed at the James Powell home Thursday. Sandra Powell returned with them for a few days visit. Mrs. Fred Bearden and daughter Gwen, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bearden and' two sons and Loene Powell all of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Moore and daughter, Joy, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Powell and daughter Susan all of Provo visted at the James Powell home Saturday and Sunday. Lars Powell has gone to Provo and Salt Lake to visit for a few days. Kathleen Mower left Thursday for Salt Lake where she will meet her sister Bettie, then the two will, go to Kanab to visit another sister, Marilyn for a few weeks. Those attending the Taylor reunion re-union this weektnd from Montwell were Mr. and Mrs Earl Roberts and family and Mr. and Mrs. Maurel Taylor and family. |
