Show Dates Set For Activity Days In Basin April 19, 20 and 21 are the dates which have been selected for Uintah Basin High School Activities Days, in which all schools in the Basin will participate. par-ticipate. Plans for the annual event were discussed at a meeting held Monday night at Roosevelt high school. . , . Frank Wright, assistant principal prin-cipal of the Uintah high school at Vernal, was named chairman for the three-day meet, with heads of the Uintah school departments de-partments to assist him. Activity will commence Thursday, Thurs-day, April 19, with contests for first year bookkeeping, debating, one-act plays, instrumental solos, duets, ensembles, etc, to take place. -' On Friday, students from all schools in the area will assemble as-semble in Vernal for competition competi-tion in chorus, music, instrumental instru-mental band music, first and second year shorthand, type-! writing and various types of speech work. . , There will also be girls activities ac-tivities Friday, with softball and track events on the agenda. An outstanding attraction will be the parade of all bands, marching and maneuvering in uniform. In the evening a variety va-riety show will be staged, featuring fea-turing outstanding talent num-. bers in the Basin, to be climax-1 ed by a dance from 8 to 10 p. 1 m Main event on Saturday, Apr.
