Show a point Mrs. Mable Jenkins Dale Hayes Now In U.S. Navy Dale Hayes has enlisted in the navy, and left Monday, , April 2 for San Diego, Calif. A scriptural reading class held their meeting at June Wool-ley's Wool-ley's last Thursday evening. Those present were: Donna Hartle, Lillie Bigelow, June Woolley, Pearliss Taylor. Velma Perry, Mammie Resmussen, Wil-ma Wil-ma Bingham, Katherine Walker. Light refreshments were served by the hostess. A birthday and Easter party was given in honor of Gorden Neilson at his home last Saturday. Satur-day. Games were played, a hunt for Easter eggs, and refreshments refresh-ments were served to the little guests. A surprise party was held for Mary Lou Huber at the home of Mr. . and Mrs. Hyrum Burgess, Saturday evening. Rook was the game of the evening, and refreshments re-freshments were served to relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Ellis Caldwell, of Vernal, Ver-nal, spent the weekend with her daughter and son-iii-law. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Burgess. Mrs. Clarence Murray, of Whiterocks, spent Thursday with her mother, Mrs. Barbara Ny-berg. Ny-berg. Mrs. Fred Neumeyer went to Ogden to visit with her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Dudley. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Tay-lof, Tay-lof, of Meeker, Colo., were guests of Mr. Taylor's mother, Roxie Taylor, and Mrs. Taylor's mother, Dorothy Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Blain Caldwell have come home, after spending the winter in Jensen, where Mr. Caldwell had employment at the oil fields. - Mrs. Rhoda Ann Lee and son, Harvey, of Ogden. are visiting vis-iting her daughter, Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Bigelow and a son, Ray Lee. Lawrence Lee, of Ogden, spent Easter Sunday with his family. I Miss Lorna Searle went to I Salt Lake City Thursday for a I speech contest. She is a student 'of Alterra high school. I Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison and son, Pete, went to Coalville, Colo, on a business trip. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Ras-mussen Ras-mussen went to Salt Lake City on a temple excursion. Mr. and Mrs. Art Norton and children, of Boise, Idaho, were guests of Mr. Norton's mother, Sarah Norton, and sister. Wilma Bingham; also Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Perry, of Price, visited with Mrs. Perry's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow, and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Perry, of Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Halverson, of Neola, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bingham, of Park City, spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins. |
