Duley National Group Of Employees Meet Eighteen members of the National Na-tional Federation of Employees were present at a meeting of Local No. 299 Friday evening, held at the Uintah Indian school. Nomination of officers for the coming year was held. A social hour was given at the club din-! ingroom, with Miss Margaret Anderson as hostess. Present officers are Frank Chamberlin, president, J. D. Fosdick, secretary; Roy Adams, first vice-president; M. A. Betts, I second vice president; Alvin J. ! Duley. guardian. . i i j Visiting Miss Violet Eagle- ; i bear, school secretary, are her mother, Mrs. Francis Eaglebear, her sister, Bernice Eaglebear, and her brother, Dave, from Poplar, Montana. Miss Esther Patterson, Girls' matron, spent last week-end I with her parents in Ouray. ! Miss Nancy Marimon and her friend, Miss Robbin Hall, both attending Wasatch Academy, are spending the spring vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marimon. Mar-imon. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Phillipps, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen and their friends picnicked Easter Eas-ter Sunday in the vicinity of the Power Plant. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Copper-field Copper-field now reside in Tooele. Mr. Copperfield was a former school deputy. Miss Jo Ann Griffin, student at Wasatch, and Miss Jerrie Griffin, Grif-fin, atending St. Mark's hospital school of nursing, are spending their spring vacation with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin. Many people from this community, com-munity, including students, attended at-tended the operetta, "Ask the Professor," given at Alterra high school Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. O. Fry, Mr. and " ' Mrs. Floyd Wheeler, and Mrs. Van Arysdale picnicked at the Dinosaur national park, Easter Sunday. Boys attending the. boarding school enjoyed a picnic outing Saturday. The Indian Youth Art club will give a benefit dance Friday Fri-day evening, April 6. at the Parish hall. |
