Show )Jtt CmtnatJ Gayle Case Ward Reunion Is Successful Event The Mt. Emmons ward reunion re-union and Relief Society bazaar was held Tuesday evening, Mar. 27. While the ladies arranged tho supper, the following program was presented: community singing, sing-ing, led by Miss Lorraine Das-trup; Das-trup; duet, Miss Dastrup and Mrs. Bernard Dastrup; jokes, Gordon Case; and two selections were sung by the Altamont faculty fac-ulty quartet, Doyle Swallow, Hal Barton, vBen C. Gomm and Ross Barrett. After supper, old-time dancing to the Thacker music was enjoyed en-joyed by young and old. Handiwork by the Relief Society So-ciety members was on display and sold during the evening. Mrs. Leslie J. Orr held the lucky number and received a beautiful quilt. June Young, of Manti, spent Easter with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young. . Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Orr were hosts at a turkey dinner Easter Sunday evening. Invited guests were Mr. and Mrs. Evan Bennion, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Han-berg Han-berg and Mr. and Mrs. Voiney Boswell. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wall, of Salt Lake City, are spending a week with their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case and two daughters, and granddaugh- ter, Gayle Case. Mrs. Kelly Sprouse and Susan Sprouse, made a trip to Monroe Friday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Myron My-ron Madsen and children, They returned Sunday evening. The Gospel Study club met with Bishop and Mrs. Willard B. Mecham Sunday evening, I March 25. The book, "Temples of the Most High," was discussed. dis-cussed. Refreshments were served serv-ed by Mrs. Mecham. Out-of-town members present were Mr. and Mrs. Orrle Cook and Mrs. Bernard Winkler, of Bluebell. |
