Show West Boiimtiffbl y siii:rai.i:k lawson An exciting police chase ended in West Hountiful last week. Apparently Appa-rently several men stole a mobile home in Las Vegas and headed for Utah. In Hountiful they stole some gasoline and the chase started. They sped north on 800 West turning turn-ing east on 2350 North. Because of the high speed that these men were driving at they were not able to make the turn without having to go over home owners property, curb and gutter. As these men rounded the corner by the Lon Child's home they were not prepared to see Officer Rob Child there with his gun in hand ready to make the arrest. Police officers from West Hountiful and Hountiful were there to also make arrests. Congratulations to Mike and Irma Ludwig. They have a new baby girl named Randi. Welcome to the Ben and Jeanet-te Jeanet-te Booth family. They built a home at 1900 North and 800 West. Mark your calendars now for the West Bountiful 8th ward fair. It will be Nov. 9 with plenty of fun planned. plan-ned. There will be Christmas items, games, an auction, lots of food and many bazaar items. The annual "salmon" BBQ for the 2nd Ward Elders was held at the Talbot home last Friday. On Sept. 29 Adrian and Cathy Groos and children went to the Jordan Jor-dan River Temple. Cathy Groos has been busy. She received her master's degree at the College of Commissioners for Cub Scouts. Carl and Sherrie have a new addition to their family, a baby boy. Congratulations. Tonight the youth of the 3rd Ward will be having a "Least of the Passover" dinner. The West Bountiful 3rd Ward MIA is selling wood. Contact Ina Mae Thomson 295-5832 for details. Gene Fchse passed away. Con-dolances Con-dolances to the family. Danny and Lynda Randall welcomed wel-comed a little girl to their family. Afton Ricks is recuperating from eye surgery. Sandy Waddoups is home from the hospital. "Hook" Utely and Mike Gines went hunting to the 3 Corners area of Flaming Gorge. Hook bagged a 5-point elk. Residents of 700 North and 975 West had their annual street party. They roasted a pig and had games for the kids. ; , The DUP Fackrcll Camp had their opening meeting for the 19X4-85 19X4-85 year. County board leaders were present to replace the vacancy vacan-cy that was left when Alice Mitchell Mitch-ell passed away. No replacement was found. Harry Bradley, husband of Ltla Bradley, passed away. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 29. James Johnson, son of Jesse and Clara Johnson passed away. He lived at 281 N. 800 W. His funeral was on Sept. 24. |
