Show Davis Mothers5 Group Slates Craig Berthold On 'The Bond Of Relationships' -;; In observance of National Fami-ly Fami-ly Week, the Davis District of the Utah Mothers Assn. of American Mothers, Inc. is sponsoring a com-;: com-;: munity lecture by noted social . worker, Craig Berthold. This will . be held at the Bountiful Branch of the Davis County Library on Oct. , . 24 at 7 p.m. HUSBANDS AND wives are cor- dially invited to attend this free lec-,:, lec-,:, : ture on the topic of "The Bond of , ; Relationships." Mr. Berthold will show us what and how we form and .... maintain relationships and what we .1". can do to strengthen the bonds in , all of our interpersonal relationships. Mr. Berthold is a frequent lecturer lectur-er being an expert in the field of stress as it affects many aspects of our lives. He has outstanding credentials in the field of social work. He graduated from Weber State College in 1973 and from the University of Utah in 1976 with a Masters Degree in Social Work, and in 1978 earned a Clinical License. FOR SEVEN years he was a child protection social worker at the Utah State Division of Family Services. He also served as a Family Fami-ly Therapist at the Youth Service Center, Salt Lake City. He was the coordinator of Child Protection Team at the University of Utah Medical Center, and the Primary Children's Medical Center from 1979-81. Mr. Berthold is presently director direc-tor of Social Services at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, as well as instructor at Utah State Police Training Standards (Police Academy), and an instructor at Weber State College. He is also a consultant to the Salt Lake County Attorney on issues of physical and secual abuse, and has an independent indepen-dent private practice at "Psychiatric "Psychiat-ric Association" in West Valley City. MR. BERTHOLD makes his home in Bountiful with his wife, Karen, and their four children. The American Mothers, Inc. is an inter-faith, inter-racial organization organi-zation whose purpose it is to build the moral and spiritual foundation, of the family and home. Through' study groups in neighborhoods and communities, mothers of children of all ages meet together as a support sup-port group. With the help of a study guide and through their discussion, they seek ways to improve the quality of life within their own homes as well as throughout the country.
