WEBER CLUB ON SATURDAY Tho billiard committee of the Weber We-ber club will hold a meeting at 2 p. m., tomorrow to arrange tho handicaps for the forthcoming billiard tournament. tourna-ment. Play will bo started, It is thought, on Saturday. Tho recent pockot billiard tournament called forth somo good cuists and the more precise-game of billiards, it Is thought, will prove that the club has some real top-notchers in this line. The billiard tournament committee consists of Carl Rasmussen, chairman; E. W. Cannady, F. M. Drlggs, W. H. Draney, Richard Leek and W. L. Wattls. An offer of a fine billiard cuo as one of tho prizes for the tournament has been made by the Brunswick-Balke-Collender company of Salt Lake. Another An-other cue has been offered by George Glen and the winner of the tournament will probably bo given his choice of these two sticks. There aro some ninety or so qualified quali-fied men in the club who will probably proba-bly compete in this grand event. The g handicaps aro arranged so that the poorer shots have equal chance with I the skilled. I |
