Show SUGAR SITUATION IS NOW IMPROVING "The sugar situation in the east is decidedly Improved. There are isolated isolat-ed districts, of course, which are yet seriously affected by the shortage. But as a whole, tho situation is much better." This is the summarized report of Stephen H. Love, a Salt Lake City business man who has just returned from Boston, New York, Washington and other eastern points. Mr. Love also stated that he had visited Fred G. Taylor, Ogden official of tho Amalgamated Amal-gamated Sugar company, whose services serv-ices were requisitioned by the government govern-ment and that he is one of Hoover's first aides. "I visited Fred G. Taylor while in Washington," Mr. Love stated ."He is one of Mr. Hoover's chief assistants." nn |
