Show I. H. COMSTDCK B HEAD OF SI PEDRO ROUTE SALT LAKE, Fob. 21. Walter H. Comstock of Los Angeles has been appointed ap-pointed general manager of tho Salt Lake Route to succeed H. C. Nutt, according ac-cording to information received hero last night Mr Nutt tendered his resignation res-ignation some time ago when ho was given a commission in the army and ordered to France. Mr. Momstock was elevted to tho position po-sition of general manager from the secretaryship of tho company. Ho has heen secretary of tfib Salt Lake Routo practically since tho company was organized or-ganized and is well known in Salt Lake, having made frequent trips here to attend annual meetings and on other oth-er matters pertaining to his duties as secretary. For a time he was assistant assist-ant to Vice President J. Ross Clark of tho company. Mr. Comstock is a comparatively young man and has practically grown up with tho road, and is one of the most popular of the company's officials. offi-cials.
