Tener, president of tho National league, is expected to witness the final move in the transfer of the Chicago Cubs from Charles P. Taft of Cincinnati to Charlos Weeghman and his Chicago associates tomorrow. Mr. Tener, it Is believed, will remain in Chicago for tho meeting of the major league schedule committee later In the week. Charles Schmalstig, a stockholder in the Chicago Nationals, will represent repre-sent Mr. Taft at tomorrow's meeting, when Mr. Weoghman's certified check for $500,000 will bo turned over In exchange ex-change for tho olub. A conference between Mr. Weeghman Weegh-man and Julius Rosenwald, relative to the amount of Cub stock which Mr. Rosenwald is expected to take over, also is scheduled for this afternoon.
