Show SOUTH DAKOTAN WINS AT BOWLING Aberdeen, S. D., Jan. 19. Roy Flagg of this city, lays claim to the world's record in bowling, making thirty-six consecutive strikes in a five-game match with Jake Stroth, on the Metro-politan Metro-politan alleys yesterday. Flagg finished his game with nine strikes, rolled two perfect scores and made three strikes at the beginning of the fourth game for a total for the three games of 870. Three game average av-erage 290. Five game average 261. The previous record was 869, made by William E. Roach of Wilmington, Del. |
