Tex Rickard and Samuel Mc- Cracken Raise to $49,500 for Willard-Moran Bout. New York, Jan. 19. "Tex" Rickard and Samuel McCracken who made the original offer of 1-15,000 for a ten round bout here between Jess Wil-lard Wil-lard and Frank Moran, increased that offer today to $49,500. They have come to an agreement with Moran by which tho Pittsburg man's end of the purse will be $17,000 instead of $15,000 and have wired to Willard and his manager that they will give tho world's champion $02,500, tho original orig-inal offer having been $30,000. Moran said today that he had accepted ac-cepted the terms offered by Rickard and McCracken with the understanding understand-ing that the bout should be indoors m New York next March and until ' the expiration of that month he would not consider any of the propositions to meet Willard. oo
