Show uu 1 SOCIETY j LEAVE FOR VISIT Tomorrow afternoon the Misses May and Helen Morrison of 2027 Adams Ad-ams avenue will leave for Montana points of Interest. About four months will be spent with relatives and numerous nu-merous friends. HISTORICAL SOCIETY Saturday afternoon at 2:30 members mem-bers of the Historical society will meet at the home of Mrs. Phillip W. Kennedy, 2513 Adams avenue. "Resolved "Re-solved that club life Is demoralizing to home life" will be the subject for a debate to be conducted by Mes-dames Mes-dames Gertrude Carr and J, S. Gordon. Gor-don. A luncheon will be served by the hostess following the debate. FROM SAN DIEGO Miss Violet Kuhn arrived home last evening ovor the Overland Limited Lim-ited from San Diego, where she has been residing for the past three years and is employed ns chief assistant to Herbert C. Snow, president of the Ocean Bay Beach company of that city. Miss Kuhn will spend about two. months In Ogden with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Kuhn, 655 Twenty-fifth street, where her many friends, both here and In Salt Lake City, will be pleased to visit with her. ' MARRIED TODAY. Mrs. Agnes Conaut announces the marriage of her daughter, Mary, to CarBtoa F. Holmes of Los Angeles. The wedding took place at 2 o'clock thin afternoon at tho family residence, with only a few relatives and friends of tho bride being present. The ceremony was performed by President C. F. Mlddleton nfter which the young couple left Immediately for Los Angeles, An-geles, where they will -.make their home. CARD PARTY-Mr. PARTY-Mr. and Mrs. G. H Hess enlortaln-ed enlortaln-ed at a card party Tuesday evening In compliment to Miss Elsie De Vll-Hers Vll-Hers of Los Angeles,1 California. Five Hundred was the feature of the evening, eve-ning, Miss Jessie Ward of Salt Lake and Walter Garner, winning the prizes. Supper was served at a late hour in the dining room, the board being made especially attractive In pink and white, decorations. Covers were laid for: Miss Elsie De Villlers, Los Angeles, Miss Jessie Ward, Miss Mabel Towne, Leroy Chester and Philip Laden of Salt Lake, Miss Clara Kissell, Earl Cobb, Jean Earl, Walter Garner, Mr. and Mrs. William Forsgreen, Mr. and Mrs. William Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Hess.
