Show BANQUET GIVEN BY AMERICAN HEN Last evening at the I. O. O. F. hall, between 300 and 400 guests gathered around the banquet board In honor of officers of the Brotherhood of American Yeomen who had previously previous-ly been elected and installed. Aside from the banquet, an Interesting program pro-gram of music and song was given and a number of the ladles, dressed In the old-time gowns, entertained the company. The committee having the affair in charge deserves much credit for the success of the function and all were the recipients of many congratulations. congratula-tions. Mrs. Addla L. Williams, as Lady Rowena, assisted by Miss EUa Mitchell, Mrs. A. B. Jensen, Elizabeth Greenwell, Mrs. Ethel Johnson and Mr G. L. Crockett were the committee com-mittee members. The banquet was served between 7 and 9 q.'clock. Following was the program: s Opening Ode, by the banqueters. Solo. Miss McGaw, accompanied by Miss Day. Recitation, Roland Malwitz. Solo, Miss Ethel Lane, accompanied by Miss McGaw. Whistling solo, by Buneta Bell. Musical selection, by the McFar-land McFar-land orchestra. Solo, by W. S. O'Brien, accompanied accompa-nied by Miss Katherino O'Brien. ' Solo, by MIbs Delia Tracy, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Pearl Tracy. The new officers are as follows: LeRoy McKnlght, honorable foreman'; fore-man'; W. L. Smith, master of ceremonies; cere-monies; J. A. Junk, correspondent; Ella Mitchell, master of accounts; G. L. Crocker, chaplain; Elizabeth, overseer; ov-erseer; Max L. Mawlltz, watchman; George Edeson, sentinel; B. V, Gaston, Gas-ton, guard; Addle L. Williams, lady Rowena; Mary I. Holbrook, Lary Rebecca and Ethel Johnson, musician. |
