Show oo SHIPPING HAY FROM OGDEN TO STARVING PS OF SHEEP Thousands or sheep on the ranges between Evanston and Granger, Wyo., are near the starving point, according accord-ing to reports received In Ogdeji during dur-ing the past two days. The deep snows and frozen ground In that district dis-trict have made it practically impossible impos-sible for the sheep to get any feed on the ranges and hay and grain is being shipped out of Evanston and Granger for feeding purposes. Five carloads of bailed hay were shipped from Ogden to Granger today, to-day, that city being the central point for th6 distribution of feed in the district dis-trict Several carloads are also being be-ing shipped in from other points. The Utah-Wyoming Livestock company, com-pany, in several Ogden men are interested, has a large number of sheep near Evanston, but, as an official of-ficial of that company stated today, the company Is fortunate in having the sheep near the railroads so that feed can be secured as needed. |
