The Jr. Slalom was won by Todd Sorenson and Georgie Hartlmaier. The giant slalom was divided into professional, amateur and under 1H year old divisions. Georg Hartlmaier Sr., Amuir Loepte of Switzerland, and Dean Powell won in their respective classes. A team with the unlikely name of the Tooty Fruities won first place in the team competition with Georg's Ski Team and Al's Army coming in second and third. There was some confusion as to how the team trophies would be divided up as there were three racers on each team but only one trophy. One person suggested sawing them into thirds while another brilliantly quipped that "someone could throw the trophy into the air and then divide up the pieces when it hit the ground. Dr. Steve Harmon took first place in the men's division and Fran Smith an SUSC student won first in the women's. Darryl Powell and Georgie Hartlmaier of Georg's ski team took honors in their classes.
