Show Boyd Dover takes Juvenile post the county position. He was graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in recreational therapy and received his master's in social work in 1905. He is a graduate of Cedar High School where he was active in athletics. th V j sc V. BOYD DOVER Former Cedar City resident, W. Boyd Dover, has accepted the position as director of the Pima County Juvenile Court Center, it was announced recently. The Cedar City native, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dover, accepted ac-cepted the converserial position following the resignation of Raymond M. Delpo under pressure. Dover admitted that he probably had his work cut out for him as he replaces a man who resigned under pressure, following criticism that the center had been turned into a too-permissive too-permissive counseling service. Dover indicated that "first and foremost, I have a responsibility to the law. We need to detain each juvenile until we determine that he does not present a problem to the community." Although assuming his post just this past week, his appointment ap-pointment has been approved since October of last year. In the interim period he has undertaken a tedious search for staff personnel per-sonnel to make the center an effective, "and responsible to the needs of the community." Dover left his position as director of treatment at the Arizona Children's Home to take |
