Show Funeral services honor Sarah Christopherson Sarah May Christopherson, 85, died April 4, in a Cedar City hospital of causes incident to age. She was born May 29, 1889 in Rexburg, Idaho to Daniel and Mathilda Fogelberg Hopkins. Married David Lehi Jensen, he died. Married Arch Gregory, he died. Married George B. Christopherson December 31, 1932 in Bingham, Utah. Mrs. Christopherson was employed as a nurse by the Utah Kennecott Copper Corp., she also practiced nursing at the Iron County Hospital in Cedar City. ""V 'r'i rr 1 L X . . She made her home in Salt Lake City until the death of Mr. Christopherson when she moved to Cedar City. One daughter, Mrs. A. L. (Deloris) Graff preceeded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd P. (Beatrice) Woodhouse and Mrs. Ernest W. (Norma) Macfarlane both of Cedar City. Two stepchildren, step-children, Archie Gregory, and Mrs. John (Jewel) Grady both of Whittier, Calif. Eight grandchildren, grand-children, twenty-eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Also one brother, March Hopkins of Salt Lake City. Viewings were held in Cedar City Sunday at the Metcalf Southern Utah Mortuary and Monday at Larkin Mortuary in Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Mortuary in Salt Lake City with burial in the Elysian Burial Gardens under the direction of Metcalf Southern Utah Mortuary. |
