Show Mass meeting slated by High School PTSA Parents and students will have an opportunity to express their views on a number of subjects concerning the Cedar City High School at a meeting being held this evening, Thursday, by the Parent, Teacher, Student Association. The meeting w ill get underway with a general meeting at, 8 p m. in the auditorium, after which those in attendance will break off into separate groups for discussions on a number of items including: -Course offerings for next year. -Travel involved for school activities. -Strengths and weaknesses in the present program. -School policies. At the initial mass meeting new officers of the PTSA for the next year will be announced. Dr. Jerald Hawley will also address the group followed by the individual in-dividual sessions at which it is hoped that parents and students will take advantage of the opportunity op-portunity to give input concerning con-cerning matters in the school. It was explained that no decisions would be reached but that the effort would be made to communicate com-municate for possible development of policies and programs. A special invitation has been extended to parents of ninth grade students to attend and participate since those students will be a part of the high school at the beginning of the next school year. |
