Show Robert Groke receives Pilot Training Twenty -eight members of the United States Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training Class were graduated recently in ceremonies held at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Among those to graduate was Second Lt. Robert E. Groke, a graduate of Southern Utah State College. Following graduation, Groke will stay at Vance for a six week training course. Upon completion of this, he will report to Randolph AFB in Texas for a three month training period. Groke will then return to Vance where he will be an Instructor Pilot. At the ceremonies, Lt. Groke was honored for his flying abilities. While attending SUSC, Robert was an active member of the Air Force ROTC and received many awards for his leadership and academic qualities, lie received the Outstanding Graduate designation. Lt. Groke, a native of Rickville, is the son of Virginia Groke. He is married to the former Deanna Prince of New Harmony. The young couple are expecting their first baby "any day now." |
