Earl Bunn of Parowan was elected to serve on the Board of Directors. Bunn said the organization was authorized ; by a bill passed in the last general session of the State Legislature. Senate bill 198 amended the interlocal cooperation act to permit tax exempt revenue bonding for a project of this type. The facility to be constructed con-structed has been the subject sub-ject of much discussion as the "Intermountain Power Project", Bunn said. It will continue to be known by that name and the California cities participating in IPP will continue in support of the project, backers of the IPP said.
