Show Enoch -fv and ffisT Midvalley By Veda Matheson Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Maxwell have a new baby girl born last week in the Valley View Medical Center. Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw made a trip to Manti to attend the pageant and attend a missionary reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Sherratt enjoyed a visit from Violet's mother, Mrs. Violet Argyle and part of her family. Shauna Culbertson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Culbertson has been in the hospital recovering from from surgery. Mr. and Mrs. John Benion visited here over the weekend with Carla's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Esplin. Also visiting here over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Sevy of St. George. They visited with Carols parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Matheson. Mrs. Zelma Alger was in Brigham City visiting with ' Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger and attending the wedding and reception for Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Alger. Mr. and Mrs. John Pace and children spent the holiday weekend in Delta, with members of Cathy's family. Gail Grimshaw is visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Grimshaw. Gail teaches school in Vernal. Rick Johnson and daughter Ayse visisted briefly with friends in Enoch while here on business. The Johnson family recently moved to Provo. Mr. and Mrs. John Mor-tensen Mor-tensen and two children and Mrs. Mortensen's mother, Mrs. Enedina Gonzales, viskrted here with Mr. and ' Mrs. Hillman Haycock. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Robinson and children visisted here with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Mitchell and family. Mrs. Marie Thornton of LaVerkin and Mrs. Hazel Staley of Kanarra spent Saturday afternoon here with Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Grimshaw and Mrs. Barbara Bar-bara Adams. Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanford Jones received a visit from their granddaughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Larson. Mrs. Larson is the former Sidney Wells, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delwin Wells. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Brent Hunter spent part of last week in Bottle Hollow, in Dueschne County, attending' the Mid-summer convention of the Utah Farm Bureau. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Hunter also flew to Seattle, Wash, late last week to attend at-tend funeral services for Mrs. Hunter's grandmother. Senator and Mrs. Ivan Matheson were in Carson City, Nev. last week attending at-tending the Western Legislative Conference. Mr. and Mrs. James Fisher enjoyed recent visits from Mr. Fisher's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McLennan of Ashley, Mich, and from Mrs. Fisher's mother, Mrs. Lucille DePue of Carson City, Mich. Here from St. George for the weekend celebration at the Enoch Church were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Richardson and boys, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Orton and family, and from Bloomington, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Maxwell and children. |
