Show NEW CASTLE NEWS home this summec, M Mr. and Mrs. Truman Blake and family of Santa Clara were visitors this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth. The Blake family are former residents of New Castle. Cast-le. The Explorer boys of the New Castle Ward sponsored a Dutch Oven chicken dinner Saturday night on the tennis court. A large crowd was in attendance and the food was delicious. Jan Liston of Escalante visited over the weekend with Becky at the Boyd Christen -sen home. The girls furnished the program with their songs and guitars at the chicken dinner for the ward Saturday night. Mrs. Norma Christensen Recent visitors tit the home of Mrs. Mary Tullis were some of their children; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Creamer of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Terry and family from Enterprise. Also visiting at the Tullis home was Dave Jones of Del Rio, Tex. Gordon Knell has returned home from the hosipital and seems to be recovering very well. Mike Knell was here last week from his home in Moab. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith and twin babies from Salt Lake City are visiting their folks this week. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Evans and family from Las Vegas were visitors last week at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Atkins from Salt Lake City were vis- Mrs. Bea Watson and Mrs. Wynona Ramage of New Harmony Har-mony traveled to Las Vegas, last week on business. Visitors last week at the homes of Charles and Trusten Hart were Mr. and Mrs. Vern Malley of Monterey Park, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert C Nelson of British Columbia; Mrs. Joan Brewer of Big Sur, Calif.; and Mr. and Mrs. Char-leu Char-leu Nelson of Cedar City. The family were all gathered for the wedding festivities of Bob and Jane's daughter Sherrie. Visitors last week at the Uriah Jones home were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Chamberlain of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Carol Boase of Hunter; Gary Chamberlain Cham-berlain of Midvale; Mr. and Mrs. Gam Perkins of Kanab; Miss Mary Dee Ingino of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mont Chamber-! lain of Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parker and family fam-ily of Cedar City; and Mr. and Mrs. John Martin of Kanab.1 Tlie family were all gathered for the wedding of Sophia Jones and Bill Hall. The wedding wed-ding party wa3 held June 10 in the New Castle Ward halL itors last week at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullis Tul-lis traveled to Salt Lake City last week where they attended a Postmasters convention there. They also visited friends and relatives while in northern north-ern Utah. Mrs. Bonnie Despain, of Salt Lake City is visiting a few days here with her mother, Mrs. Roberta Clark. Mrs. Lois Adams and Mrs. Pat Adams of Enterprise were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Bea Watson. Steve Christensen returned home this week from a two weeks encampment with the Otah National Guard at Camp Williams in northern Utah. Steve's wife, Debra, traveled to Salt Lake last weekend where they visited some of the sights there during Stove's time off. Deb also visited with her folks in Cedar City during Steve's absence. Boyd Christensen traveled to Salt Lake City last week with Leon Bowler on business. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Leavitt and family of San Francisco, Calif, are visitors this wek at the home of Mrs. Mary Tullis. Perry is a brother to Mary. A daughter, Lisa Leavitt will remain for a time at the Tullia |
