Show Little League starts second half Kiwanis edged by Coleman by a score of 5-3 in the second sec-ond game Friday. Middleton was the winning pitcher with Boren and Smith on the mound for the losers. Webb hit a home run in the game for the victors. ..... . . . . Carter Brothers picked Up their second win of the season Monday with a 10-1 win over Rotary. Baldwin went all 'the way for Carters and Barnes and Johnson shared duties for Rotary. Coleman defeated Mllrte'8-2 Tuesday evening. Smith was the winning pitcher and Jex and Judd were both on the mound for the losers. Pryor belted a home run in a losing effort for Milne. Spilsbury-Graff met Kiwanis, Kiwan-is, Wednesday, , Coleman will face Carter Brothers tonight and the double header Friday will see. Kiwanis and Rotary tangle in the first game and Spilsibury-Graff and " Milne battle in the second game. Monday night Coleman and Spilslbury-Graff will battle and Tuesday Carter Brothers and Kiwanis will meet. At the end of the first half it was Spilslbury-Graff on tcp with a 7-1 record. Final games of the first half of play saw Coleman defeat Rotary by a score of 6-4. Smith was the winning pitcher for the Coleman crew and Johnson John-son suffered the loss for Rotary. Ro-tary. Milne walked all over Carter Brothers Thursday evening with a one-sided 33-9 victory. Jex, Pryor and Judd all saw action on the mound for Milne Mil-ne while Baldwin and Whitney Whit-ney shared the pitching duties for Carters. The first game of the double-header Friday was a 16-2 victory by Spilsbury-Graff over ov-er Rotary. At the end of five innings of play Spilslbury-Graff Spilslbury-Graff led by only two runs, 4-2. The last inning of play the mortuary crew pushed in 12 runs for the win. Hulet went all the way on the mound for the victors and Larson and Barnes shared the pitching chores for Rotary. Mathews belted a home run in the contest for Spilsbury-Graff. |
