Sorbe of .evan, Utah, exchanged vows n a double ring ceremony, Iay 26 in the First-Second ',Vard chapel. Bishop Ernest 11. Ahlborn officiated in the tiles and Mrs. Clair Alice -Uubbs was at the organ for music during the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Tullis are the parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. F. Sor-bee Sor-bee are parents of the bridegroom. bride-groom. They are residents of Levan. Following the ceremony the ncwlyweds were feted at a reception held in the Parowan Paro-wan Third Ward cultural hall. The bride was radiant in her beautiful flowing white gown of nylon tricot lined with lucious satin.'The bodice with its high neckline was accented by designs of lace, outlined with seed pearls and crystal beads. The lace and beading continued con-tinued down over the-skirt to the hem of the dress. The full flowing; skirt circled into a semi-length train. Full transparent trans-parent sleeves gathered into pointed jeweled cuffs. The bridal bri-dal gown was complete with the elbow-length veil and a jeweled bonnet headpiece. For flowers the bride chose a bouquet of white orchids, stephanotis and baby breath with vhite streamers. The bridemaids' bouquets were made up of pink rosebuds white carnations and baby breath. Attending the bride was Miss Anno Orton, Miss Rhon- Also in the line were grandparents grand-parents of Susan, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mickelson. Presiding at the guest book was Miss Kathy Robinson. Serving at the punch bowls were Miss Debbie Day, and Miss Brenda Barton. Helping with the gifts were Mrs. Mar-lene Mar-lene Hinton, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Frankie Lou Bentley, Miss Evelyn Lyman and Katie Kat-ie Walton. . Helping with refreshments, and servinig were friends of the bride and bridegroom. Furnishing music for the evening was Mrs. Clair Alice Stubbs on the organ. A light powder blue knit suit was the going away outfit out-fit for the bride An open house was given by the parents of the bridegroom bride-groom the following evening in Levan, being held in the beautifully decorated ward hall. Mr. and Mrs. Sorbe and the new Mr. and Mrs. Sorbe, along with the ' complete wedding line greeted many friends and neighbors from that area during dur-ing a lovely evening. Traveling from Parowan to Levan were the parents of the bride and her brother; the grandparents and an uncle and aunt, Mr, and Mrs. Orvan D. Hinton; also the bridesmaids brides-maids who were from Parowan. Paro-wan. The . newlyweds spent a week in San Francisco on a honeymoon. Upon their return they reported to Bryce Canyon Can-yon where they each have employment for the summer. da Hinton, Miss Leslie Robinson, Robin-son, Miss Marlcne Sorbe, Mrs. Kalhryn Bralieal. Rhonda Tullis Tul-lis and Mim Brazieal were flower girls. The attendants wore full length dresses of petal pink with white lace covering square neck bodices. Best man was Victor Sorbie, brother of the bridegraam and ushers were Jim Corning, Tom Walker, Larry Janes, Jeff !nrd, Blair Stephenson, Norman Nor-man Ace, Russell Tullis Mothers of the couple wore lung drosses in shades of pink and their corsages were of pink rosebuds, white carnations carna-tions and baby breath. |
