Show Blaclmer takes National Jeep post years. He is a past Utah State Commander and has held additional ad-ditional state offices. He is also a past commander of the Iron County Sheriff's Jeep Patrol. activities of the Search and Rescue organization for many George Connell of Cedar City stepped down as president presi-dent of the National Jeep Search and Rescue Association, Associa-tion, Inc. and another Cedar City man, took over the position posi-tion of second vice commander of the organization at the annual an-nual convention held at Vernal Ver-nal this past week. Ken Blackner of Cedar City was elected as second vice commander of the National organization at the convention which was attended by 500 members from 10 western states. Seven couples from Cedar City were in attendance at the weekend convention. They included the Connells, the Blackners, Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Baldwin, he is a past national commander and current cur-rent commander of the Iron County unit; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Macfarlane, Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Adams, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Beatty.
