Show Temple ceremony unites Buhanan, Dauer Nuptial rites performed Saturday, Sat-urday, June 3 in the St. George LDS Temple united in. marriage mar-riage Miss Nancy Buhanan and Daniel LaVand Bauer. President Theron Ashcroft officiated of-ficiated at the douible-ring ceremony. Following the ceremony a dinner honoring the newly-weds newly-weds was hosted by parents of the bridegroom, Mr. . and Mrs. W. LaVand Bauer at the Trafalga Cafe in St. George, for 40 close friends and relatives rela-tives who had witnessed the wedding. A reception was hosted that evening by the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Morris Buhanan, Buhan-an, at the Ninth Ward Cultural Cult-ural Hall in Cedar City. Paro-wan. Pre-nuptial showers honoring honor-ing the bride were given by Miss Wendy Thompson and also al-so by Mrs. Evan Jolley. Following the wedding the newlyweds departed for short honeymoon trip. They will make their home in Cedar City this summer and continue contin-ue their education next fall. with lace appliques also adorned ad-orned the long puffed sleeves and detachable train. Her four tier veil of bridal illusion was elbow length and fell from a flower designed headpiece head-piece of net and pearls. She carried a bridal bouquet featuring fea-turing a large white glamelia surrounded by yellow rosebuds. rose-buds. Attending the bride as bridesmaids were Miss Catherine Cath-erine Smith, Miss Wendy Thompson, Miss Joan Tullis, Mrs. David Tophaim and Miss Bonnie Buhanan, the latter two being sisters of the bride. They carried a single large yellow mum arrangement, while petite flower girls, Miss Julie Topham and Miss Christine Chris-tine Jolley carried a basket of smaller yellow and white mums. Standing as best men to the bridegroom were Alan Batty and Bruce Bishop. Greeting at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Garlan Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Jolley, while Miss Inez Cox served as guest book attendant. Mothers of the bridal couple wore long yellow dresses adorned ad-orned with white glamelia corsages and the same soft yellow color was used in the floor length dresses worn by the bridesmaids, flower girls, hostesses and guest book attendant at-tendant and was repeated again in floral arrangements throughout the room as well as in the table decorations and sweetheart backdrop. In charge of gift tables were Mrs. John M. Cox and Mrs. Garth Green. Kitchen helpers included Mrs. Lee Morrell, Mrs. Clemont Adams, Miss Marilyn Shurtz, Miss Janet Stapley MLss Paula Armstrong Miss Ann Paxman, Mrs. R, Reid Cox. Mrs. Joseph Felix, j Mrs. Boyd Hales, Mrs. Rich-j ard Dover and Mrs. Orwin Green. Those serving were the Misses Vickie Anderson, Judy Bennett, Colleen Thorley, Lisa Kupfer, Amber Graff, Jan Jolley Jol-ley Lynette Jolley and Mel-Mrs. Mel-Mrs. Keith Bauer of Spanish Vocal music for the reception recep-tion was sung by Mrs. Boyd Hales accompanied by Mrs. Douglas Cox Out of town guests attending attend-ing the wedding festivities Include In-clude the brides grandmother.
