Show Ah NEIL C. PETTY Seminar instructor attends workshop at BYU Neil C. Petty, principal of the Cedar City South Seminary spent last week on the campus of Brigham Young University attending a workshop for new institute personnel in preparation prepa-ration for his new assignment as director of the Columbia, South Carolina Institute of Religion Re-ligion serving LDS students attending the University of South Carolina. He will also supervise home study seminaries semin-aries in this area. The five-day workshop consisted con-sisted of concentrated orientation orien-tation in all phases of the responsibilities re-sponsibilities of institute personnel. Addressing the group formally were Dr. Joe J. Christensen, Associate Commissioner Com-missioner of Education, as well as his assistant adminis- trators Dr. Franklin D. Day, I Dr. Dan J. Workman, and Dr. Frank M. Bradshaw. In addition addi-tion to classroom sessions, a banquet was held In the Ernest Ern-est L. Wilkinson Center on Thursday. The group partici-pated partici-pated in a special 5:30 a.m. session in the Provo Temple on Friday,, and the workshop concluded with a testimony meeting that afternoon. |
