V tw.;, ;;.; i Vii rf yip w mmm ' m Mr. and Mrs. Therol Mc-Arthur Mc-Arthur announce the marriage of their daughter, Tamra Val t0 Ronald Beatty Bolander, son ol Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bolamlor of Ordervillo, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, June 14 at the t. George LDS Temple. President Andrew McArthur officiated at the nuptial exchange. The newlyweds were honored honor-ed at a reception the same evening given by the brides parents at the Sugar Loaf Dining Din-ing Room in Cedar City. The bridal gown was of French georgette. It featured a shirred bodice, and dropped shoulder edged in rows of seed pearls. The full sleeves were, of double georgette and shirred shir-red at the wrists. The skirt was slightly gathered at the emipire waist, and floor length. Her bridal veil was of French brides illusion and fell in three tiers to chapel length from a pearl embroidered lace bonnet. She carried a bouquet of white orchids, stephanotis and pink baby breath. Attending her sister as matron of honor was Mrs. Sharol Janosik. Bridesmaids were Kathi Baldwin, Jan Carter, Car-ter, Connie Jackson, tfie bride's cousin; Sharee Beck, Linda McArthur, Laurene Bolander and Jan Stratton. They wore French georgette floor length gowns, royal Iblue, featuring long full sleeves and empire waists. In their hair they wore royal blue satin ringlets attached at-tached to a bow. Their bouquets bou-quets were of pink gladiolas, carnations and ibalby breath, held in a sheer white picture hat. Sipecial attendant to the bride was her nephew, young Casey Janosik, who was attired at-tired in blue velvet knickers. Both mothers wore street length dresses of royal blue with shoes to match, and carried car-ried one white orchid. Best man was the bridegroom's bride-groom's brother, Duane Bolander Bo-lander of Midvale. Ushers were Mitchell Seaman, Sea-man, Nueman Duncan, Brent White, Kyron Sorenson and Glade McArthur. The wedding cake featured tiers of fruit cake, 5 tiers of a fountain of pink water, fresh white orchids, and pink roses. It was made by LaRine Brad-shaw. Brad-shaw. Music was furnished by a string ensemlble under the direction of Mrs. Jane Larson. The room was decorated with fresh pink spring bouquets bou-quets and pink candles designed de-signed especially for the wedding. wed-ding. Musical numbers during the evening were sung by Denese MR. AND MRS. RONALD BEATTY EOLANDER DeMille, "Tammy" and by Sue Jensen, who sang, "More" and "Daddy's Little Girl." A special feature was a doll dressed exactly like the bride made by the. brides... aunt, Joyce Wariburton. . Grandparents-present were, Mrs. Mary Beatty and Mr. and Mrs. Val McArthur. . : Serving girls were Ann Mey-ers, Mey-ers, Sandi Amend and Valena Leavitt. ' ' The new Mrs. Bolander has attended Southern Utah State College. She Is a graduate of Cedar High School where she was active in student affairs; on the student council, and a member of the band. She served serv-ed as President of the Suah Kahne pep club, and representative repre-sentative of Girls State where she was elected President of the Senate. Mr. Bolander ' graduated from Valley High School and in June received a degree in Botany from SUISC,. He served an LDS mission in the East Central States. "The bride wore white knit pants suit as her going away outfit, and they honeymooned at Grand Canyon. They will reside in Cedar City until September when they will move to Provo to attend Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University where the bridegroom has been accepted ac-cepted for. graduate study. Following the Temple ceremony cere-mony Mr. and Mrs. Bolandet entertained at a wedding luncheon in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Bolander further fur-ther entertained at an Open House for the young couple at the Ordcrville Ward Cultural Cult-ural Hall Saturday evening. Prenuptial parties included a bridesmaid luncheon, with a musical program under the direction di-rection of Mrs. Ben Baldwin. Her daughters, Bonnie and Shelly sang and Brent Boyter played a trumpet solo. Mrs. Kathi Baldwin and Miss Jan Carter gave a bathroom bath-room shower for the bride at the home of Mrs. Baldwin where the guests worked on a luncheon set and dish towels. Mrs. Mary Taylor did a buffet buf-fet dinner served at the McArthur Mc-Arthur residence,., s ) |
