Show Garden ceremony in Brfgham City unites John Lynn Dalley and Shari Carlee Allen John Lynn Dalley claimed Shari Carlee Allen as his bride In a garden ceremony perfom-ed perfom-ed at the home of the bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Hunsaker in Brigham City, Ci-ty, Friday, June 9. Officiating in . the double-ring double-ring ceremony was Glen Smith, counselor in the Brig-ham Brig-ham City 18th Ward bishopric. The new Mrs. Dalley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack P. Allen of Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. Max S. Dalley of Par-wan Par-wan are parents of the bridegroom.' bride-groom.' The newlyweds were feted immediately following their wedding, which took place at 6 p. m., by a garden reception recep-tion at seven. Friday, June 10 the couple were honored guests at a garden reception at the Dalley residence in Parowan.! Setting for the open house was the garden of the bridegroom's bride-groom's parents. A-path , of lighted candles directed the guests to the garden where they were received by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Knell, hosts for the evening.. Refreshments were served on the deck. The bride was lovely in a floor-length gown of white ny- j Ion polyester. The empire waistline was accented by a bow of satin ribbon and streamers falling to the length of the gown. The sleeves were of white organza. The dress was accented by lace trim down the skirt. Her veil was nylon net gathered with lace flowers. A floor-length train of the same material completed the outfit. Her bridal bouquet included includ-ed pink carnations, dark pink roses, sweetheart roses and white stephanotis tied with a pink ribbon. Bridesmaids were Laurene Dalley, Diane Ayola and Judy 1 Blanch. They wore gowns of polyester crepe in pink and featuring an empire waistline and bell sleeves. The sleeves and waistline were trimmed with velvet ribbon. Their flowers flow-ers were long stemmed red roses with pink ribbons, i Standing as best man was Julian Rollins with Kenneth j Adams, Craig Rowley, Randy Day and Alma and Alan Adams Ad-ams as ushers. For the occasion the mother ! of the bride selected a white dacron cotton dress trimmed with lace and matching white shoes. The mother of' the bridegroom chose a pink voile accented with a corsage of pink roses. At the guest book was Marsha Mar-sha O. Rowley with Karrie S. Day at the gift table. .Hosts at the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Knell. Assisting in the kitchen were Alta Adams and Jasmine Jas-mine Gurr; serving were Linda Lin-da Hyatt and Joan Knell. The newlyweds honeymooned honeymoon-ed in Zion National Park, and they are now making their, home in Brigham City, where : both are employed. j I The new Mrs. Dalley is a ! : graduate of Box Elder High I School where she was a mem-' mem-' her of the chorus, the FHA, and the Thespians organization. organiza-tion. She has attended Weber State College in Ogden and has worked at Erigham's Apparel. Ap-parel. Mr. Dalley graduated from Parowan High where he participated par-ticipated in athletics, all three sports, and was active in mu- sic and was a member of the school chorus. He has attended attend-ed Utah State U in Ixgan and was affiliated with Alpha Gamma fraternity. |
