Show Lambert Stuhbs vows recited t ; ;-,.' -: 7 : r ' ' - -.v : MLs Vera Ember Lambort became the bride of Craig Hal-terman Hal-terman Stubbs in a beautiful garden ceremony , June 10 performed per-formed at the home cf the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Lambert, Cedar. Bishop Blaine Johnson officiated at the double rir.g ceremony. Th Lambert garden was also al-so the setting for the reception recep-tion which followed. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stubbs, Parowan. Prior to the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Stubbs were hosts at a wedding lunch at their home in Parowan for family members mem-bers and out-of-town guests. The bride wore a gown of French Voile with Irish Lace trim. The Mantilla style train of bridal illusion was trimmed with matching Irish Lace. She carried a bouquet of mint green fugi mums surrounded by stephanotis and baby white carnations a c cented with green ivy. Mrs. Richard (Toni) Iligbee was matron of honor for her sister and the bridesmaids were Miss Ann Lambert, Mrs. Randy Clove, Miss Wendy Ward, Miss Janeal Stubbs, and Miss Gina Mitchell. The bride's attendants wore green print street length dresses dres-ses with bouquets of yellow daisies, mums and yellow and fuschia straw flowers against a green background. Mike Hulet was best man and the ushering was done by Richard Higbee, Kurt and Clay Higtbee, and Mike Lambert. Lam-bert. Ring-bearers were the bride's twin nephews, Mat and Russell Higbee. Mrs. Lambert and Mrs. Stubbs wore pale yellow knit dresses with cybidium orchid corsages. Acting as host and hostess for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Kirby Lambert while Miss Julie Lambert presided at the guest book. Mrs Jay Lambert and Mrs. Kent Hoyt were at, the punch bowls and Mrs. C. M. Clark was responsible for the buffet buf-fet tables. Helping in the kitchen were Mrs. G. D. MacDonaid,' Mrs. Patrick Fenton, Mrs. MoRay Cloward, and Mrs. Grant Seeg-miller. Seeg-miller. Cousins of the bride helped with the serving. Mrs. Clyde Lambert stood at the end of the receiving line to direct guests to the refreshment refresh-ment tables. Also greeting guests at the reception were the fallowing grandparents of the newly-weds: newly-weds: Mr. and Mrs. Haltenman and Mr. and Mrs. Chester MR. AND MRS. CRAIG HALTERMAN STUBBS Stubbs, Parowan; Mrs. J. H. Lambert, Lehi, and Mrs. Bert Smith. The bride's going away dress was white featuring full sleeves gathered in a ruffle at the wrist, a dainty "Peter Pan" collar and an empire waist accented with a fluffy bow in the back. Her full circle skirt had a ruffle at the hemline. The newlyweds honeymooned honeymoon-ed at Brian Head, Grand Canyon Can-yon and Lake Powell. The bride graduated from Cedar High and attended Continental Con-tinental Cosmetolpgyi College in Salt Lake one year.'She has practiced at the Modern Beauty Bea-uty Salon. Mr. Stubbs is a graduate of Parowan High and has attend-ed attend-ed BYU for three years major-"" ing in Art. He will complete his studies next year. Prior to the wedding the bride was feted at the following follow-ing showers: One hosted by Mrs. Jay Lambert and Mrs. Clyde Lambert In Salt Lake; one given by Mrs. Pat Fenton, Miss Ann Fenton, and Mrs. Tess Rawlinson; one given by Mrs. Kent Hoyt and Mrs. Randy Clove; one given by Mrs. Elroy Mason and Mrs. LaMond Parker; and a luncheon lunch-eon at Bloomington hosted by Mrs. Verl Broadbent and Miss Diane McDonough. Coming from Salt Lake for the wedding and reception were Dr. and Mrs. Jay Lambert, Lam-bert, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lambert Lam-bert and family, Mr. and Mrs. Court Nielson, and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Egan. Other out-of-town guests Included In-cluded Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Fox, Lehi; Dr. and Mrs. C. M. Clark, San Marino, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Jackson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Mack Jackson and family -of St. George. |
