Show Reed Prisbrey led the riders' along the Mountain trails into in-to the back country. After lunch on the trail, the riders returned to camp and a good steak dinner. Donneva Prisbrey, Mac and Don Armstrong Arm-strong were the chefs. Sunday the riders reluctantly reluctant-ly broke camp and rode down Commanche canyon to New Harmony, bringing to a close one of the most successful trips the club has enjoyed. Pine Valley ride enjoyed by Trailriders Members and guests of the Southern Utah Trailriders club arrived Friday, June 16th at Big Water on Pine Valley Mtn. for their seventh annual overnight trail ride and pack trip. Riders making the 2Vz hour ride form New Harmony to Big Water, were Reed & Donneva Don-neva Prisbrey, Don and Mac Armstrong, . Elmer Jarvis, Marty Taggert, Clifton and Claueda Hulet, Jesse & Sherrie Prisbrey. Camp was set up in the large grassy meadow, named Big Water, which is surrounded surround-ed by beautiful mountains and shady pines. Supper time consisted of a delicious roast beef, with dutch oven potatoes and biscuits and cake. After an enjoyable evening of songs, stories and good company around the camp-fire camp-fire everyone retired for the night. Saturday morning the party was joined by Dallas and Karen Kar-en Grant, Jerry Neilson, Bill and Rusty Beatty. Everyone saddled up and |
