Show v- i - ., .. a, fe.- - L'C' " ' . -- ' JANET LAUB Janet Laub to participate in tour with 4-H Janet Laub, daughter cf Mr. and Mrs. Norman Laub from Beryl will participate in the state 4-H home .improvement tour July 11 and 12 along with some 20 other Utah girls age, '.6 to 19 and selected extension exten-sion agents and volunteer j adult leaders. The tour is being sponsored by Utah State University Extension Ex-tension and the Sperry and Hutchinson Company. It is designed de-signed to recognize the achievement achi-evement of girls in the 4-H Home Improvement program and to provide educational opportunities and inventives for future work, aceoring to Amy R. Kearsley, Associate supervisor of USU Extension youth programs and Mrs. Elin-een Elin-een F. Wood of Los Angeles regional representative in consumer con-sumer relations with Sperry and Hutchinson which is assisting as-sisting in the planning. Marva Esplin, extension home agent from Iron County pointed out that Miss Lau has shown keen interest and done outstanding work in her 4-H Home Improvement projects. pro-jects. The tour is being planned around the theme, "Your First Home Away from Heme." They will see a slide presentation cf furnishings your first a-partment a-partment should have and will visit student housing, and apartments of working girls in Salt Lake City. Helen Thackeray, Consumer Consum-er Information Specialist, will discuss wise use of credit. They will tour the studio and drapery workroom at Barbara Jensen Interiors. At ZGVII they will see a demonstration on selection of table appointments. appoint-ments.
