Show the State of Utah as a Lab Technician. Pre-nuptial courtesies for the bride included a personal shower given by Mrs. Ricky Evans, Mrs. Raymon Mathe-son, Mathe-son, and Miss Shirlee Joseph. MR. AND MRS. RELDON E. MATHESON Geraldine Stubbs, Reldon Eyre Matheson united in marriage at St. George Temple A young Parowan couple, Miss Geraldine Stubbs and Reldon Eyre Matheson, were united in marriage May 31 in the St. George Temple. It was a double ring ceremony. A reception was held that evening in the Parowan 3rd Ward Cultural Hall. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stubbs, and parents par-ents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Matheson. . The bride's floor-length gown had an "empire look" with a stand-up collar of imported im-ported French Chantilly lace on bridal satin. It was adorned adorn-ed by an elbow length viel of soft net. The lace-satin combination com-bination was emphasized by a front panel of satin with a self belt. Scallops of lace ran along the edg.es of the front panel combined with a satin bow on the inverted pleat at the center back and along the puffed sleeves featuring button-down cuffs. She carried a large cascade bouquet of glamelias with hand-made silver and white petals. Matron of Honor, Mrs. Raymon Ray-mon Matheson, Cedar City and maid of honor, Miss Marsha Stubbs wore floor-length floor-length dresses of dark blue brocade with small puffed sleeves and round necklines. The back of the dresses had button down panels. The bridesmaids, Misses Shirlee Joseph, Parowan and Camille Larsen, Kaysville, wore dresses of light blue brocade bro-cade of the same pattern as the dark blue. All attendants had large white mums accented ac-cented with long hanging velvet vel-vet ribbons. Flower girls, Misses Wendy Stubbg and Mary Ann McAllister McAl-lister wore short dresses with blue and white flowers. Standing in the receiving line with the bridegroom were best man, Raymon Matheson and Bob Adams. The ushers were Wayne Eyre, Larry Tul-lis, Tul-lis, and Doug Evans. Mrs. Stubbs and Mrs. Matheson Math-eson wore pink lace dresses and corsages of carnations and glamelias. Additional flower decorations decora-tions were done by Mrs. Alma Jones. A grandmother of the bride, Mrs. Lee Spencer provided the background music. The bride's other grandmother, Mrs. Bessie Bes-sie Stubbs was in the receiving receiv-ing line. The grandmothers were also in attendance at the wedding in the Temple. Beverly Hadfield, Kearns presided at the guest book. The Gift Table was taken care by aunts of the bride and bridegroom, Mrs. Delbert Mort-enson, Mort-enson, Mrs. Frank Mickelson, Mrs. Nolan Bess, Mrs. Bob Stubbs, Mrs. Joe Stubbs, and Mrs. Donald Stubbs. The serving was done by cousins of the bride and bridegroom; bride-groom; and aunts and friends Mrs. Mel Eyre, Mrs. Elmer Buffington, Mrs. Clarence Benson, and Mrs. Elmer Green helped in the kitchen with the refreshments catered by Mrs. Alvin Bradshaw. Tlie bride attended Stevens Henager Business College in Salt Lake and is now employed employ-ed at D. Land Title Co. in Cedar Ce-dar City. The bridegroom attended CSU and is now working for |
