Show BLM precipitation studies in So. Utah released Precipitation studies in the southern Utah area for the month of May, made by the Bureau of Land Management, were announced this past week. The report reveals mat the Buckhorn flat area received the highest amount of precipitation precipi-tation during the month, a to. tal of 1.55 Inches while north hamblin Valley in western Iron County was low with on-ly on-ly .10 of an inch recorded. Following is the result of all areas surveyed by the BLM: Cottonwood, .40; Buckhorn flat, 1.55; Buckskin valley, .45; Lizzies Hill, .90; Bible Spring, .75; Pine Valley, .40; South Hamblin Valley, .55; North Hamblin Valley, .10; Escalante Escalan-te Desert, .70; Perry Well, 1.15, and Antelope Range, .90. |
