Show Special justice of the peace training program planned at Southern Utah State . ducted at Weber State, BYU and College of Eastern Utah as well as at SUSC, with counties from those areas par. ticipating. Participants in the SUSC workshop are justices of the peace from Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Juab, Kane, Millard, Piute, Pi-ute, Sevier and Washington counties. Funds for the program will be largely provided through the Highway Safety Act of 1966 of the U.S. Government with remaining amounts provided pro-vided by state and local contributions. Justices of the peace throughout the area will gather gath-er at Southern Utah State College Col-lege for a special training program pro-gram June 14 it was announced announc-ed by J. Lynn Uibel, coordinator coordina-tor of community services. This will be the first of a number of Saturday meetings the group will attend. Approximately 30 participants partici-pants will be schooled in the short course designed to as- sist justices of the peace in improving their skills dealng wth legal matters. Specal emphasis em-phasis will be placed on criminal crim-inal complaints, traffic laws, sentencing, and legal forms. Attorney Christian Ronnow will serve as instructor assisted assist-ed by Judge Hadlow Christ-enson. Christ-enson.
