Show Parowan students get B.S. degrees at Utah State U Sat. Two Parowan students received re-ceived their bachelor of science sci-ence degresss at Utah State University at the annual commencement com-mencement exercises Satur-j Satur-j day morning1. '' I They were Richard Van Aus-dal Aus-dal and Sherry Joan Wasden. i Van Ausdal, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Van Ausdal, received re-ceived his degree in business administration and Miss Wasden Was-den her degree in the school of education.. She is a daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Newel Wasden. Members of the families of both of these students were in attendance at the exercises held in the fieldhouse on the USU campus. Van Ausdal, completed his studies at the end of the winter win-ter quarter, but waited for the annual commencement to receive re-ceive his degree. In the meantime mean-time he is here visiting with his family until June 16 at which time he will leave for Fort Ord, Calif., to begin basic ba-sic training for a two years hitch in the U. S. Army. He enlisted some time ago. Along with these two students stu-dents who received their degrees de-grees and are now home for a while, three other undergraduates under-graduates who attended the Logan school are now home for the summer. They are Jud Hendrickson, Glen Robinson and Mahlon Dalley. The latter lat-ter has been in Mexico City for the past while attending the University of the Americas, Ameri-cas, on an extension course from USU. |
