Mother of Newel Wasden dies, is buried at Scipio Mr. and Mrs. Newel Wasden Was-den were called to Scipio last Friday by the death of Newel's mother, Francis Elizabeth Wasden, 96. Mrs. Wasden died at a Delta Hospital from natural na-tural couses. She was well-t well-t known to Parowan residents by reason of her living here at the Wasden home much of the time for several years. Born July 13, 1872 at Scipio Sci-pio a daughter of William and Charlotte Nixon Robins, she married Louis Wasden Feb. 13, 1S95. He died May 111, 191S.. She was an active I member of the LDS Church. Survivors are: sons Myton, Scipio; Newel, Fa rowan and Reed, Salt Hike City. Also eight grandchildren and 15 . greatgrandchildren. i Funeral services for her was held Monday in the Scipio Ward chapel and burial was in the Scipio cemetery. Joining the Newel Was-dens Was-dens at the services were their children. Sherry and Sandra and Joseph E. Ward of this city and a son Robert Was-( I den, Cedar City.
