Show ;.'. ; r i ' ,1 T .V-., MARSHA AND YVONNE VORKINK Parents Announce Engagement of Daughters The engagements of two of their daughters, Yvonne and Marsha, were made known this week by Dr. and Mrs. Paul Vor-kink Vor-kink of Cedar City. Miss Yvonne Vorkink will wed Robert Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Syrenus Wood of Spanish Fork, Utah, and Miss Marsha Vorkink will exchange nuptial vows with John Ralph Logan, son of Mrs. Lola Miller, Las Vegas, Nev. and and employed part time with Utah Parks Company in Cedar City. John Logan, her fiance, is an education major at CSU. Prior Pri-or to completing a mission with headquarters in Holbrook, N. M., he lived here with his grandparents grandpar-ents and had graduated from Cedar City High School where he served his senior year as student stu-dent body president. Mr. Logan j has also completed six month's tour of duty with the Utah National Na-tional Guard. He is employed part time with Bradshaw Chevrolet Chev-rolet Co. a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph C. Adams, Cedar City. The two sisters and their fiances fi-ances plan a double wedding in the St. George LDS Temple on July 22. Yvonne, who is presently teaching a second grade class at Hamilton School in Salt Lake City, is a former Utah State University Uni-versity student and a graduate from College of Southern Utah. She was a member of Xi Lambda Lamb-da Tau sorority. Her fiance, Robert, Rob-ert, is a student at Brigham Young University where he is in his junior year as ar architectur- al engineer. Mr. Wood has also completed a North German mission. mis-sion. Following their marriage the couple plan to make their home near Provo where Mr. Wood will complete his education and work part time as a carpenter for a building firm. Marsha is now enrolled at College Col-lege of Southern Utah where she is completing her junior year toward to-ward a degree in business. She has attended the University of Utah and as a secretary, has been employed at KSL radio. She is affiliated with Phi Alpha Beta |
