The Thunderbirds had 12 hits compared to 11 for Colorado Colo-rado and Rex Wright led the hitting hit-ting barrage with three for four at the plate, including a two run homer in the first frame. Reed Backus homered for the T-Birds in the" eighth with one on; Bill" Farr hit a single round-tripper in the second and Kimoto homered in the big eigth inning to start things off. -Saturday In the first game of the double-header Clay Chambers of the Miners had things going h'is way, as he limited the T-Birds to just five hits.
