Show American Little League Tryout Dates Set I Officers of the American League for the coming year include in-clude Rosenberg, president, Wally Flannigan vice president; Blaine Johnson, secretary and treasurer 1 and directors Donel Hunter, Boyd 1 Bladen, Kay Whitehead, John Smith, immediate past president; and Abe Haycock. Team managers for the year will be: Matias Quintinalla, Websters; Jay Monsen, Rotary; Morris Shirts, Milne and Wayne Meyers, Kiwanis. Coaches are George Rhodes, Hal Norton and Ernie Kiedelbach. Tryout dates for the American Little League in Cedar City were announced this week by Humbert Rosenberg, president. Saturday, April 16 is the first date for tryouts for boys 9 through 12 years of age interested in participating in the program this year. Nine-year-olds will meet at 9 a. m.; 10 year-olds at 10; and 11 and 12 year-olds at 11 a. m. Subsequent dates for tryouts will be announced at that time, he stated. Boys interested in the program who have not registered in previous pre-vious years must be registered in order to be eligibile for participation, par-ticipation, Rosenberg stated. Registration cards may be obtained ob-tained at the Iron County Record. Rec-ord. American League is composed of boys whose birthday fall from the 16th to 31st of any month. Boys whose birthday fall on the 1st through 15th must try out in the National Little. League, it was stressed |
