Show Local Youth Named Lt. Governor Of Key Club District Phil Yergensen, Junior student at the Cedar High School, was elected as lieutenant governor of district seven of the Utah-Idaho District of , Key Clubs at a district dis-trict meeting held at Pocatello, Idaho Friday and Saturday. , ! The Cedar City club also won the right to host the 1958 Key Club convention. Key clubs are high school service ser-vice clubs sponsored by Klwa-nls. Klwa-nls. A delegation of nine members from the Cedar City club attended attend-ed the Pocatello convention led by Lt. Governor Bevan Corry, and club president Jerry Farnsworth. Others attending Included Bob Hahne, Allen Roberts, Boyd Dover, Do-ver, Jim Thorley. Yergensen, Eric Gardner and Travis Nelson. Thorley also ran as a candidate candi-date for governor of the U-I dis-tlrca dis-tlrca but lost out to Jay Smith of Jordan. |
