Show Fred E. Warner Appointed to Helm Of Utah Parks Company Operations Promotion of Fred E. Warner as' manager of Utah Parks Company, a Union Pacific Subsidiary, was announced announc-ed today by U. P. President A. E. Stoddard. Effective May 1 he succeeded W. P. "Pat" Rogers, who retired after 37 years of service In the railroad's food and hotel operations. FEED WARNER i 11 RUDY IVERSON Rulon (Rudy) Iverson will re. place Mr. Warner as assistant manager. ' Mr. Warner, naUve of Platts-mouth. Platts-mouth. Neb, and educated in Iowa, is a veteran U. P. employee employ-ee who has been associated with the Utah Parka Company since the Inception of Union Pacific development in Cedar City, and Zlon and Bryce Canyon and Grand Canyon (north rim) National Parks and Cedar Breaks National Nation-al Monument Warner first entered U. P. service ser-vice at Salt Lake Cltln 1911 as a brakeman and was engaged in train service at various points on the railroad until 1920 when ' he moved to Cedar City to oper-' oper-' ate a private tire shop. In 192S he Joined the Utah Parks Company, serving in the engineering and accounting de-partments de-partments until his appointment as chief accountant in 1330. In 1932 he was transferred to U. P. headquarters In Omaha in charge of Utah Parks Company accounts. Warner became chief clerk of the Utah Parks Com-pany Com-pany In 1934 and was promoted to assistant to the manager and superintendent of transportation In 1917. He Is a director of the Utah-Nevada Utah-Nevada Hotel Association and active in civic afialrs in Cedar City and southern Utah. |
