Show HS Music Department Head Plans for Festival LaNoir Asay, head of the Parowan Par-owan High School music department, depart-ment, has made strenuous preparations prep-arations for the Region 10 music festival which will be held Saturday Sat-urday in Fillmore with the Millard Mil-lard High as host school. Mr. Asay announces that two groups will be entered from the Parowan school. These will be the high school girls' chorus, numbering 45 members, and the high school band. The lat- ter organization, when in marching march-ing formation numbers 65 members mem-bers and as a playing unit has 45 members. This group will enter the marching and playing events at Millard. Both of these groups have been putting In long hours of practice in preparation for entering In the events of this, the biggest event of tht year for the music students stu-dents of Region 10. This event assembles almost 2000 students from the high schools of Millard, Beaver, Iron, Washington and Kane counties. |
